This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! My dog’s name is Astro, and this is his blog. Astro lost his front left leg due to osteosarcoma, and I want to share his canine cancer treatment plan and progress to help others going through the same thing
…or something like this:
Woof! My name is Daisy. I am a two year old German Shepherd rescued from a neglectful home after losing my right rear leg from being tied up on a chain all my life. I’m much better off now am here to prove to others that it’s better to hop on three legs than to limp on four!

On Tuesday our baby Rusty who is now blind from progressive retinal degeneration will be undergoing a surgery to remove his front left leg. Rusty was what I refer to as a dump dog. Someone dumped a litter of pups and he showed up in our yard. Needless to say he became our baby boy. We had no idea of the venture we would be taking. When he began to bump into things we went through three doctors before I would believe that his sight was failing and was unreversible. We have long past this challenge and he has done outstanding. You would not know that he could not see as he is so so smart. Now begins our new journey…. On Tuesday he will have his front left left removed due to a tumor that I am being told is non-operable. I have to be honest I am scared…. I know he is smart and they tell me he will adjust and be back walking the next day.. But I have never been in this situation and am hoping for advise and guidance from someone. Please say prayers for Rusty and share any advise that you can. Thank you!
